Status
EMviq is the reference web-visualisation viewer for EM 1.4. It is the web-side counterpart of EM Tools in that release line and remains maintained for that role.
From EM 1.5 onwards, the project introduces Heriverse as the visualisation track of choice — deeper rewrite, collaborative VR, paradata pop-ups, StratiVerse data model, European Collaborative Cloud for Cultural Heritage integration. That does not retire EMviq; it gives 1.5+ projects an alternative aimed at a richer feature set, while EMviq continues to serve 1.4 deposits and projects that prefer a lighter, single-purpose viewer.
